Ada Man Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison; Four Others Sentenced Recently in Common Pleas Court

An Ada man was among five people sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s Office:

.Eric R. Brite was sentenced to a total of seven years in prison on one count each of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, possession of heroin and possession of drugs. He was classified as a Tier II Sex Offender.

The following four individuals were each placed on five years community control with conditions:

.Shay M. Stephens on two counts of breaking and entering and one count each of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, theft and aggravated possession of drugs.

.Darrell L. Bodine on two counts of assault.

.Zachary I. King on one count of aggravated possession of drugs.

.Staci Grogan on one count each of aggravated possession of drugs and failure to appear as required.

All cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.
