Ada Pulls Away Late to Defeat Hardin Northern

A late surge was enough to push the Ada Bulldogs past Hardin Northern 60 to 48 in boys basketball play Thursday at Hardin Northern.

The Bulldogs (5-16) led 50-47 midway through the fourth quarter but outscored the Polar Bears 10-1 down the stretch to notch the win.

Phillip Coulson led the Bulldogs with 22 points and also grabbed five rebounds.

Connor Frazier finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds for the winners while Zac Swaney and Brandon Hull each scored eight points.

Hardin Northern (7-15) got 14 points from Owen Wetherill and another 12 from Hunter Jolliff.

Nevin Robson and Lance Good added nine points each for the Polar Bears.
