Ada Woman Killed in 3 Vehicle Crash in Allen County

An Ada woman was killed in a three vehicle crash that occurred in Allen County Wednesday evening.

According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway patrol, 30 year old Barbara Lamb traveled left of center while driving east on State Route 309 nea Thayer Road.

Her vehicle struck a westbound car being operated by 28 year old Dystiny Marshall, of McGuffey.

After the impact, Lamb’s vehicle was struck by another westbound vehicle being driven by 42 year old April Fisher, of Alger.

Lamb was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A passenger in her vehicle, 36 year old Ryan Lamb, as well as Marshall were both taken to Lima Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

Fisher was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Two passengers in her vehicle, 51 year old Steven Fisher and 16 year old Tristan Fisher, were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.

All parties were wearing their safety belts.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Allen County Coroner’s Office, Bath Township Fire, Perry Township Fire, the Lima Fire Department, Big Daddy’s Towing, Army’s Towing and Minich’s Towing.

The crash remains under investigation.

The State Patrol reminds motorist to always wear a properly adjusted seat belt, and never drive distracted.
