Agriculture Producers Have Until March 15 to Enroll in Programs

Agriculture producers have until March 15 to enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs for the 2022 crop year.
Meanwhile, producers who enrolled farms for the 2020 crop year have started receiving more than $1.8 billion in payments for covered commodities which were triggered under such programs.
Agriculture Risk Coverage protects producers against revenue shortfalls through county or individual coverage.
Price Loss Coverage protects producers against price declines.
The 2018 Farm Bill reauthorized and updated both programs.
