All Day Standoff Wednesday at Hotel in Findlay Ends with Arrest of Michigan Man

A domestic incident that began in St. Clair County, Michigan ended at a hotel in Findlay on Wednesday.  

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Drury Inn on West Trenton Avenue at around 9:30 Wednesday morning in reference to a domestic disturbance.

A male and female were involved in the incident, and they refused to exit the hotel room and barricaded themselves inside their room.  

Officers were in constant communication with both subjects as they attempted to resolve the situation.  

At just after nine Wednesday night, the 55 year old female exited the hotel room.  

She is being interviewed by authorities from St. Clair County, Michigan.  

Around an hour later, the male subject exited the room.  

He was identified as 52 year old Gabriel Charles Wagner of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan.  

He was arrested on felony warrants from Michigan, which were related to the original domestic incident.  

Wagner was incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center.
