The Hardin County Board of Election meeting that was scheduled for this Thursday, July 11 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, August 8th at 9:00am in the Board office. The Board of Elections office is located in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton.

 A man who served as the Superintendent of Water Treatment for the City of Kenton and the certified water treatment plant operator at various other locations was sentenced Monday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. Dale Albert, of Kenton, was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count of Violation of Safe Drinking Water requirements. He must serve 30 days local incarceration.
