Rural Kenton Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident Over Independence Day Weekend

A motorcycle accident over the Independence Day weekend injured a rural Kenton man. According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred this past Saturday night in the area of County Road 195 and State Route 309. Forest Village Council Scheduled to Meet This Evening

Forest Village Council is scheduled to meet this evening. The meeting will start at 6:00pm tomorrow evening at City Hall. Also in Forest, the Splash Pad in Gormley Park is closed this week. It is scheduled to reopen next Monday, July 15. Preparations are underway for Tree Town Festival activities being held at the park this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hardin County Real Estate Tax Payments Due Tomorrow

All Hardin County property owners are being reminded about the due date for Real Estate Tax Payments. Treasurer Brieanne Sullivan said the payments are due this Wednesday, July 10th.  The due date for Manufactured Home, or trailer, tax is Wednesday, July 24th. If you have a question, visit the Treasurer’s Office located on the second floor of the Courthouse. You can also call the office at 419-674-2246.
