Kenton Man Arrested Monday Late Afternoon

A Kenton man was arrested Monday afternoon. According to the Kenton Police report, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of King Street just after 5pm in response to a domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival officers arrested Jesse L. Risner of Kenton for domestic violence and obstructing justice. The report showed that Risner was armed with an unspecified weapon when arrested and the victim received minor injuries. Winter Comes Early

Winter came early to the region bringing an unofficial amount of approximately 5 inches of snow and creating slippery conditions. All Hardin County schools, along with a majority of schools in our region, closed for today. Most of the schools announced a 2 hour delay last night in advance of the winter weather advisory. Dunkirk Man Arrested in Kenton

A Dunkirk man was arrested on Friday evening in Kenton. At around 8:40 Friday evening Kenton Police were dispatched to the parking lot in front of Gordman’s for a male looking inside of vehicles and wearing a maroon sweatshirt.  Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect, 39 year old Patrick J. An Oak Hill Ohio female was arrested by Kenton Police on Friday. According to the Kenton Police report, officers initiated a traffic stop at Wharton Park around 10am Friday. The officer noticed the vehicle had two different plates and that the rear plate had been altered to appear valid.
