The USV 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are selling Christmas ornaments to help raise funds for various events, activities, and projects throughout the year. Ornaments will be sold from now until November 26th. Each ornament is $5.00. You can place an order by calling the Elementary or High School at 419-757-3231 offices between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
The recent coat drive conducted by the United Way of Hardin County and BKP Ambulance District was a big success. The drive ended with a total of 42 coats and numerous hats & gloves collected. The items will be distributed through Helping Hands Outreach Ministries and Love Inc. of Hardin County.

The Findlay Police Department assisted The Lansing Michigan Police Department for an arson investigation. According to a press release from the Findlay Police Department, Officers were sent to the Econo Lodge on Emma St. in Findlay to attempt to locate the suspect in a Lansing arson case. A burglary was reported in Kenton on Tuesday. According to the report from the Police Department, an unknown suspect entered a home in the 400 block of North Cherry Street sometime overnight Monday evening into Tuesday morning. A flat screen TV and sound bar were taken from the residence while the victim was away from the house. The report showed no forced entry a 1st floor door.
