Friendship Gardens in Tourism Spotlight

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance featured the Friendship Gardens of Hardin County in its tourism spotlight. The  gardens feature annual beds, a butterfly garden and many other gardens and plants.  It is a great learning experience for all ages.  The Friendship Gardens of Hardin County is located at 960 Kohler Street in Kenton. It is open from dawn to dusk.

The United Way Community Health Run is scheduled for Sunday September 24. It will start at 8 that morning at ONU's Dial-Roberson Stadium in Ada. Volunteers Sought to Assist at Eats on the Street

The Kenton Historic Courthouse District is requesting the support of local civic groups, clubs and organizations to volunteer their time to assist at Eats on the Street. The Kenton Historic Courthouse District is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and appreciates the support of the organizations. Call 419-673-4131 to learn more about the volunteer opportunities. Eats on the Street will take place Saturday July 15 from 5 until 10pm in downtown Kenton.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Junior Cadet Week is underway this week. The five-day training course is for select high school students who are interested in learning about law enforcement. Each year, the students have the opportunity to participate in the intense and immersive training course. It is held at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy.

Wilson Sporting Goods Receives Ohio TCA Assistance
