HN Elementary Students Community Service Day

Benji Navarro & Oden Trachsel Hardin Northern elementary students had a community service day at the school on Wednesday.  The students worked on cleaning up trash, pulling weeds, and cleaning up the landscaping.  They work hard on improving the appearance of the school grounds. School officials stated that they appreciate all the hard work of the students.

$228,800 Awarded to Seniors at KHS Senior Awards Day Tuesday

It was a big day for Seniors at Kenton High School on Tuesday. KPD Serves Notices at Five Kenton Properties to Cut Down High Weeds and Grass

Several notices to destroy high weeds and grass were served at properties around Kenton on Tuesday. The notices were served at properties in the 700 and 400 blocks of West Franklin Street, 400 blocks of West Lima Street, 500 block of North Market Street and 400 block of King Street. The residents were given five days to comply with the order.

HN 5th Grade Students Hold Water for Sudan Walk on Tuesday

The Hardin Northern 5th grade classes completed their water project Tuesday with a three mile "Water Walk" around the track.   This walk was used to simulate the distance that villagers in Southern Sudan walk to have access to clean water.   The 5th graders also collected $1,200 from a community sale and donations from the Hardin Northern community.   The money will be sent to the organization "Water for Southern Sudan" that […]

The Kenton-OHP FFA recently went to the Ohio FFA State Convention on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5. While at the convention, many of the members had received awards and scholarships. The Light Ohio Blue campaign will have the annual Cruiser Caravan today.  The caravan will begin at approximately 6:45 this evening. Surprise Party Held for Retiring HN Superintendent

Dr. Jeff Price A surprise retirement party was held last week for Dr. Jeff Price. He served as superintendent for Hardin Northern from 2005-2007 and 2015-2023.  He was honored at the party for all of his accomplishments at the school.
