OSHP Announces First Ever Lateral Cadet Class

Anyone who has an Ohio Basic Peace Officer certification with two years of full-time (or equivalent) Ohio law enforcement experience may now apply to the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a lateral cadet with the intent of becoming a state trooper. Polls Open Until 7:30 in Today’s Special Election

Two money issues are on the ballot in today's Special Election. Voters in the Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District will decide the fate of a tax levy. HC Republican Party to Recognize Veterans at Free Dinner

The Hardin County Republican Party will recognize all veterans with a dinner at the Hardin County Armory on May 16.  The meal will be served at 6:30 that evening, and General Mike Murray will be the featured speaker. Hardin County Pickleball Club Holds First Tournament

Hardin County Pickleball Club held its first tournament at the Hardin County YMCA this past Sunday. Five women's doubles and 6 men's doubles teams competed. There are two blood drives this month in Kenton. The first one is Monday May 22. It will run from noon until 6pm at First Baptist Church on County Road 175. KHS Music Department Presenting Cabaret this Month

The Kenton City Schools Music Department is gearing up for Cabaret this month at Kenton High School. Performances are scheduled for Friday May 19 and Saturday May 20  at 7:30pm. Saturday is Alumni Night. A matinee performance is also scheduled for Sunday May 21 at 2pm. Tickets for general admission seats will be sold at the door. Table seating must be reserved.
