Ridgemont Holding Mother/Son Movie Night

Ridgemont Schools Mother/Son Movie Night has been scheduled. It will start at 6pm on Friday March 10. The movie is free. A Concession Special with two drinks, two popcorns, two candies and two cookies is $10. A form must be completed and returned to the students homeroom teacher, along with the $10, by Wednesday March 1. Additional students are $4 each.

The death of a man in rural Forest is being investigated. According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, a caller reported a death at the residence, and a deputy arriving at the scene found the body of deceased male inside. Kenton Woman Being Held on Multiple Drug Offenses.

Dee A. Szymanski A Kenton woman was arrested on a warrant early Thursday morning. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an officer observed a female walking in the 100 block of Harris Street who had a valid arrest warrant out of the Hardin County Sheriff's Office. Kenton Grad Named Head Football Coach at River Valley

A graduate of Kenton High School has been named the head football coach at River Valley. The Marion Star reported that Matt Waddle was introduced this past Tuesday at the Marion County school. Waddle was elevated to the position left vacant after Doug Green retired at the end of the 2022 season. Waddle has been on the staff for the last three years. He graduated from Kenton in 1998.
