Two Blood Drives Scheduled in November

There are two blood drives scheduled in the month of November. The first is Monday November 14 from noon until 6 at the Kenton Moose Lodge. The last one this month is on Monday November 21. Livestock Sale Checks Must be Picked Up by Nov. 18

Hardin County Fair livestock exhibitors have until November 18th to pick up their livestock sale checks.  The checks must be cashed or deposited by November 30th, the end of the ag society’s fiscal year.  Checks can be picked up Wednesday and Friday from 9 am – 4 pm in the Secretary’s office at the fairgrounds.  Parents and advisors can pick up checks for exhibitors.

Throughout the month of November, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an online survey to identify traffic safety concerns and obtain feedback about interactions with the agency. Water Valve Repair Project to Affect Residents in Northeast Kenton

The City of Kenton is planning on repairing a valve on North Main Street and replacing a fire hydrant on North Wayne and Marie Avenue. That will take place Wednesday evening starting at 10 p.m. and will affect all residents and businesses in the northeast section of town including both sides of Main Street and both sides of Columbus Street. The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County increased slightly since last month According to AAA, the average today is $3.88, compared to $3.85 a gallon in October. The lowest average price in our region is in Logan County at $3.80 a gallon. The most expensive is $3.91 a gallon in Wyandot County. The 2022 United Way of Hardin County campaign continues and contributions are still being sought. Donations to the United Way help provide funding to 19 partner agencies in the county.
