Alliance Holding Ribbon Cutting at Spherion

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for Spherion Staffing.  The ribbon cutting will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at 1:00 pm at 15 North Detroit Street in Kenton. Spherion Staffing of Kenton will also be hosting an Open House from 1 until 3 that afternoon.

Marion and Union Counties Under a Tornado Watch

Two Ohio counties in our region are under a Tornado Watch. They are Marion and Union Counties. The National Weather Service issued the Tornado Watch until 9 tonight (Tuesday May 3. Strong to severe storms are likely this afternoon and early evening. Damaging winds, torrential rainfall, and large hail are expected to be the greatest threat with these storms. A tornado or two is also possible.
