AEP Ohio Purchases Nearly 30 Acres of Land in Kenton

The land is situated between Walmart and the old KMart building on East Columbus Street on the city's east side. AEP's media relations department would only say that they purchased the land for future use.

Alger Water Bill Due Date Extended

The Village Office Building in Alger is closed today through Monday, January 1st for the holiday.  Today is normally the last date to pay your water and sewer bill before shut off, but due to the office closure, that has been extended until the close of business on Tuesday, January 2nd.  Wednesday, January 3rd, will be the shut off day for all bills not paid.
