Belle Center Man Remains in Critical Condition After a Crash Last Week

A Belle Center man remains in critical condition one week after a crash that occurred in Allen County.

According to a release from the Ohio State Patrol, 27 year old Johnny Bailey Jr. was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital after the vehicle he was in went off the south side of Bryn Mawr Venue where it struck a house.

The vehicle was being driven by Johnny Bailey Sr., who was killed in the crash.

The residents of the house were not injured.

Alcohol and drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash. 

With the upcoming New Year’s celebrations, troopers are reminding the public to never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs and always designate a sober driver.
