Scam artists are using fake text messages on unsuspecting people who purchased items online.

Online shopping is at an all-time high this time of year, and oftentimes, you may receive a text stating your package could not be delivered due to missing delivery details.

The fraudulent messages may show your delivery is from the United States Postal Service, FedEX, UPS or other service.

They are designed to get you to click on a link and eventually get personal information from you.

Do not click on these messages.

If you believe there is a problem with a package, check with the seller.
