Northern Hardin County Fire District Hosting Monthly Pancake Breakfast Tomorrow

Photo: Northern Hardin County Fire District The Northern Hardin County Fire District is hosting a Pancake Breakfast tomorrow morning. It will be served from 7:30am until 11:00am Saturday morning at 201 North Main Street in Dunkirk. The breakfast will also be served every third Saturday of the month. The meal consists of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The cost is a free will donation.

Hardin County Community Foundation Approves 143 Grants at Quarterly Meeting

The Hardin County Community Foundation Board of Trustees approved the awarding of 143 grants at its quarterly meeting this past Tuesday in Kenton. The Grant Committee met on April 4 to review the 157 requests for funding before selecting the 143 proposals. The announcement of the grant recipients is expected by May 1. Optimist Club of Kenton Hosting Annual Easter Egg Hunt Tomorrow

The Optimist Club of Kenton-Central Hardin County will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19. It will start at 1:00pm that afternoon at the Hardin County Courthouse lawn in downtown Kenton. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to ages 1 through 10. Children are asked to bring their own basket or bag for collecting eggs.  In case of possible weather issues, visit the WKTN Radio and/or Hardin County Optimist Club Facebook pages.

The Benjamin Logan High School Raider Relay is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at the high school. The day will be filled with games, tournaments, activities, food, and prizes. The event raises money for the Logan County Cancer Society, which helps over 300 families each year with cancer-related expenses.
