There’s still time to give the gift of life this holiday season by donating blood or platelets with the American Red Cross.

Blood donations of all types – especially type O – are urgently needed now, as holiday travel and severe winter weather in parts of the country continue to impact the blood supply.

A blood drive is happening today from 2 until 7 at the McVitty Memorial VFW Post in Forest.

Another bloodmobile is being held Monday December 23 from noon until 6 at First Baptist Church in Kenton.
