Body Found Floating in Pond in Allen County’s Perry Township
Allen County authorities are investigating a case involving the body of man that was found floating in a pond in Perry Township.
The Lima News reported that Allen County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Greely Chapel Road Tuesday evening where the body was found floating in the pond on the private property.
He has been identified as a 32 year old Kentucky man, but his identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. It appeared his body had been in the pond for a significant amount of time.
Suspected narcotics were found at the scene.
The body was taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
