Boil Water Advisory in Effect for Some in Kenton’s 4th Ward

As the repair of two valves on South Leighton Street in Kenton are completed, some residents in the 4th Ward will be under a Boil Water Advisory.

City crews began making the repairs at around 11 Thursday night.

Only residents in the 4th ward south of the river, north of Espy Street and west of the old railroad were affected.  

During the shutdown, residents in the affected area had little to no water pressure.  

A boil water advisory will be in effect for those residents only.

It will be in effect until further notice.
