A Wyandot County boy was injured in an incident that occurred this past Friday night at Sulphur Lake Campground on U.S. 68 between Dunkirk and Arlington.
The Findlay Courier quoted the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office as saying a 16 year old boy was attempting to retrieve a bracelet from the pond at the campground. He apparently got stuck under a dock and was underwater for several minutes.
The boy was pulled from the water by 33 year old Josh Frisbie, of Forest, and several other people help as well.
The boy, whose name is not being released at this time, was taken by helicopter to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
His condition was not available as of Sunday.
