Bucyrus Lighting Plant Closing

The Bucyrus lighting plant will be closing.

The Bucyrus Telegraph Forum cited a company spokesman as saying that GE Lighting intends to “cease plant operations.” 

Around 175 employees will be impacted.

The company is said to have informed employees yesterday (Wednesday March 9.)

The Bucyrus plant is one of two in Ohio that will be closing.

The other is located in Logan.

No closing date has been set at this time.
