BVHS Introduces COVID-19 Treatment

Blanchard Valley Health System announces an innovation for COVID-19 treatment in the region.

Pulmonologist Dr. Yuhann Lopez says monoclonal antibody infusion has been used for such COVID-19 cases as that of Donald Trump, and has proven more effective than earlier treatments available to Ohio hospitals.

Lopez warns, however, that the medication is in limited supply, and is not for children under 12 or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
