Five billion dollars in Bureau of Workers’ Compensation dividends will be made available to Ohio employers tomorrow.
Almost 180-thousand private and public employers covered by the State Insurance Fund are eligible for this dividend, which more than doubles the bureau’s dividends from April and October combined.
$4.3 billion has been allocated for private businesses, and $687 million will go to such local government taxing districts as counties, cities, townships, and schools. Employers will receive their checks in several batches over the coming week.
