Castle Indicted on Multiple Charges Connected to Kidnapping of Trinity Hurt

A Kenton man has been indicted on multiple charges in connection to the kidnapping of 7 year old Trinity Hurt back in November.

According to documents filed today (Thursday) in Hardin County Common Pleas Court, 57 year old Charles Castle was indicted on one count of aggravated attempted murder, one count of rape, 6 counts of kidnapping, three counts of tampering with evidence and one count each of endangering children, felonious assault, burglary and possessing criminal tools.

Castle is accused of abducting 7 year old Trinity Hurt from her home in the 600 block of South Leighton Street late Wednesday night November 10.

She was reported missing the next morning.

A search came to a successful end when Trinity was found in the basement of an abandoned house in the 9000 block of County Road 180.

Castle is being held in the Multi County Jail in Marion.

Prosecutor Brad Bailey is suggesting he be held without bail.

No arraignment date has been set at this time.
