OHP Inducts National Technical Honor Society Class

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center inducted the school’s largest class into the National Technical Honor Society this week. Almost 100 students were welcomed into the society. Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show Taking Place in June

The 11th Annual Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show has been scheduled for next month. The Open House featuring the Kenton Toy Collection will be held at the Hardin County Historical Museums in Kenton on Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11. The hours both days will be 10am until 3pm. Admission for the show is free.

Art in the Alley Happening Friday

The Hardin County Historical Museums will host Art in the Alley tomorrow evening (Friday May 5). The hours will be 3:30 until 7:30 at the museum located at 223 North Main Street in Kenton. The event will showcase the work of Willi Wolfschmidt. The Kenton born artist donated a number of sculptures, memorabilia, writing, poems and awards, some of which will be on  display at the event.

Two Levies on May 2 Ballot Passed by Voters

.Residents in the Riverdale School District easily passed the school's renewal levy that was on the ballot Tuesday. The income tax levy passed in Hardin County 151 to 65. The unofficial total with Hancock and Wyandot Counties was 595 in favor and 188 against. .Residents in the Upper Scioto Valley Ambulance District said yes to a levy. 148 voted in favor, and 119 voted against the levy.
