Robinson Fin Fire Kept from Spreading Thanks to Staff

The staff at Robinson Fin on US 68 just south of Kenton is being credited for quickly extinguishing a fire before it spread at the plant this (Tuesday) morning. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at around 7:40 after a transformer in the building caught on fire. ODOT Construction Season Begins

This week, the Ohio Department of Transportation officially kicks off the 2023 Construction Season across the state.  According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 4,628 work zone-related crashes in Ohio last year. There were also 133 ODOT crews struck while working along Ohio's roads.  Motorists are encouraged to make it a habit to move over or slow down when you see orange barrels this year.

Kenton Boys Powerlifting Team State Champs

The Kenton Boys Powerlifting Team were crowned State Champions this past Saturday in the 2023 Bill McClain State Powerlifting Meet sponsored by the Lewis Family McDonald’s. The boys combined for a total weight of 13,330 lbs which topped runner-up Marysville by 175lbs.
