The Alzheimer's Association Central Ohio Chapter is hosting a program in March answering general questions about Alzheimer's disease and offering information and support for caregivers. HN 3rd Graders Work on Public Speaking

Brooklynn Good giving her presentation 3rd grade students in Mrs. Morris's class at Hardin Northern have been working on public speaking. The students started by speech writing.  Each student wrote an informative speech on "How to be in third grade."  They then shared their speeches with the second grade classrooms.

Child Okay After Fentanyl Overdose Incident

An incident involving the overdose of a child was reported to Kenton Police Wednesday afternoon. According to the report, officers were dispatched to Hardin Memorial Hospital in reference to the fentanyl overdose involving the child, who survived the incident. The suspect, identified on the report as the child's mother, is facing charges of endangering children, possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

OCC Holds Media Day for New Dispensary

A Media Day was held at The Ohio Cannabis Company's newly built dispensary located at 17043  County Road 113 east of Harpster. Brian Wingfield of OCC stated they have a final inspection with the State Pharmacy Board coming up and are confident in passing the inspection. The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education took care of several items on the agenda at its meeting Wednesday evening. The Board accepted the resignation of Tom Jarvis as High School Math Teacher effective at the end of this school year.
