KHS JROTC Competed in a Raider Competition

For the first time in 15 years, the Kenton High School JROTC competed in a Raider Competition at the Knox County Career Center in Mt. Vernon.  The group finished 12th of 24 teams and took 6th place in the One Rope Bridge competition. The team is back in action this Saturday at Live Oakes in Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Both Hardin Northern urban and rural soils teams advance to state competition at the recent district competition. The urban team came in third in the district and the rural team dug out second place competing against many teams. KHS Students Attend HOSA Leadership Conference

Four Kenton High students attended the Health Occupations Students of America Future Health Professionals Leadership Conference. It was held this past Friday September 30 in Marysville. The students attending were Brock Heckathorn, Angel Forester, Allison Harpel, and Haylee Wise. Students connected with other HOSA members and played ice breaker games. They also discussed upcoming competitions, fundraisers, and ways to serve and give back to their community.
