OVI Checkpoint to be Held in Marion County Friday Evening

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Marion County Friday evening. The OVI checkpoint is funded by federal grant funds. They are planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. OVI checkpoints are designed to not only deter impaired driving, but to proactively remove the dangerous drivers from the roads. The location of the checkpoint in Marion County will be announced Friday morning.
