Two Regional First Responders Receive State Funding

The first round of funding to be awarded to local first responder agencies as part of the new Ohio First Responder Recruitment, Retention, and Resilience Program were announced Monday. A total of 26 agencies will receive $1.67 million to help them support the wellness needs of law enforcement officers, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. Theft Incidents Reported to KPD

Several theft incidents were reported to Kenton Police throughout the day on Sunday. They occurred in the 400 block of King Street, 300 block of Haynes Avenue and 700 block of Decatur Street. In addition, officers were dispatched to Walmart on a report of an active theft at the store.
