Kenton High School Boys Varsity Bowling finishes 1st place at Invitational @ Hillcrest Lanes

Wednesday was the inaugural Kenton Holiday Baker Tournament and the Kenton Boys Varsity team pushed through 10 baker games and 3 tournament matches to win the tournament.  Kenton finished the 10 game preliminary round in 2nd place with a score of 1628, behind Elida, with a score of 1747.   As the 2nd seed, Kenton defeated Galion in the 1st round 137-121, 185-142. US Sporting Events Postponed

Due to the winter storm warning today, the Buckeye Central-Upper Sandusky boys basketball games for this evening have been postponed. They have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 5th, 6:00 p.m. at Upper sandusky.  The Upper Sandusky winter sport parent/senior night has also been moved to January 5th. The Colonel Crawford-Upper Sandusky freshman boys basketball game scheduled for January 5th has been moved to Saturday, January 14th.

Kenton Boys 7th Grade Basketball beat Elgin High School 42-9

Wildcats start fast and never look back beating Elgin 42-9. Kenton's pressure was too much to overcome as the Comets struggled with a lot 1st half turnovers. The Wildcats we're lead in scoring by Maddux McFarlin with 20. Anden Goldsmith and Kyle Barrett each had 5 and Carter Newland had 4. The Wildcats move to 4-2 as they head to Christmas break.

Four pins and two forfeits give the Kenton High School wrestling team their first victory of the season over Lima Bath in WBL action Thursday night.
