Kenton Middle School 7th & 8th Boys Baseball will have mandatory tryouts starting next week. They will be from 5:30-8:30 PM on Monday February 26 and Thursday February 29 in the Little League cages on State Route 292 and on Saturday March 22 from 6-8 PM in the Fieldhouse by the Kenton High School. Kenton hosted the WBL Wrestling Championships this past Saturday.  Wapakoneta wrestlers claimed six titles enroute to winning the championship as a team with 180.5 points. Celina pulled off second with 148 points and St. Marys placed third with 144 points.  Kenton, as a team, placed 8th with 39 points. The Kenton Wildcats bowled their highest individual game of the season with a 717 in Game 1. They then added games of 650 and 591 for a total of 1958 going into the 6 baker games.  They then bowled at baker total of 737, again their highest baker average of the season to complete the tournament with a total of 2695 to finish in 6th place.
