Church Broken into in Wyandot County

A church in Wyandot County was broken into over the weekend.

 

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on patrol noticed a side door on the Smithville Church on U.S. 67 was standing open.

 

Upon investigating, the deputy discovered that there were shoe prints on the door, and three glass panes were shattered,

 

The sink, toilet and mirror in the bathroom were also destroyed.

 

The incident is under investigation.
