City of Kenton Offering Patrol Officer Exam

The City of Kenton has posted about a patrol officer exam for the city.

Application forms may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office located in the City Building, 111 W. Franklin Street.

Applications must be filed with the Clerk by November 16, 2020 at 3:00 PM.

The Civil Service Entry Level Examination for Patrol Officer in the Kenton Police Department will be on Dec. 7, 2020 at 1:00PM.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply for Patrol Officer, must be a US citizen of the United State and reside in the State of Ohio. 

The applicant shall be eligible to receive an original appointment on or after the person’s 36 birthday.

All ex-military personnel wishing to receive service credit must attach copy of their discharge papers of the application.
