The City of Kenton Government announced the updated parking ordinance that is in effect.

There is no parking allowed on grass.

All motor vehicles and watercraft must be parked or stored on a driveway.

If the driveway is not large enough to store vehicles then not more than two motor vehicles and/or watercraft may be parked in the rear yard or side yard, upon a hard surface approved by the City of Kenton.

Such parking spaces must be accessible from the driveway or public right-of-way such as an alley.

Residents may apply to the Board of Zoning Appeals for an “Off-Street Parking Permit” for a fee of $150.00.

The Board of Zoning Appeals will take the applicant’s immediate neighbors and the general public interests into account.
