A Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 10 Wednesday January 22, 2025.
.WHAT…Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected, especially early Wednesday morning.
.WHEN…Until 10 AM EST Wednesday.
.IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
