Columbus Grove Teenager Injured in Putnam County Crash

A Columbus Grove teenager was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend in Putnam County.

According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 17 year old Tonna Gossard lost control of her vehicle while driving west on State Route 12.

The car ended up off the right side of the road where it struck a tree and several cemetery headstones.

Gossard was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima and later transferred to Children’s Hospital in Columbus with life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
