Columbus Man Charged with OVI Following Union County Crash
A Columbus man escaped injury in a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Union County.
According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, 60 year old Brian J. Campbell lost control of his vehicle on U.S. 33 near State Route 161.
The box truck went off the road and struck a group of trees and a fence.
Campbell was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for failure to control.
He was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
