Commissioners Get Update from Hardin Hills Administrator

The Hardin County Commissioners got an update from Sharon Huston, Hardin Hills Administrator at a recent meeting.

One of the topics was if C wing at the facility needs to be closed.

Huston pointed out that if beds and staff can’t be increased it needs to be discussed. 

Five aides and one full time nurse and one part time nurse are needed.

Huston researched what other area county homes are paying and found that three did Premium Pay and opted to do overtime over 8 hours and weekend pay receives an additional $5.00 per hour. 

An Executive Session was then called to discuss personnel.
