Crash in Union County Injures Marysville Man

A Marysville man was injured in a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon on State Route 4 in Union County.

According to the report from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Todd, age 50, was stopped for traffic waiting to turn left into the driveway of his residence, when his car was struck from behind by a northbound car being driven by 38 year old Kyle Gardner, of Galion.

Heavy damage occurred to both cars.

Todd was transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville for treatment of injuries.

Gardener was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
