DARE and FCCLA Clubs at Bellefontaine Conduct Seatbelt Check

The Bellefontaine High School DARE club and FCCLA club teamed up to promote safe driving for the holidays.  

The club members were assisted by Bellefontaine Police Officers to conduct a seatbelt check at Bellefontaine High School.  

They checked the occupants of the vehicles entering the school campus.  

If the occupants had their seatbelts on, they received a holiday sweet treat.

The results were:

244 – total vehicle occupants checked

236 – wearing seatbelts

8 – not wearing seatbelts
