Hot weather trumps rain when it comes to attendance at the Hardin County Fair.


Paid gate yesterday was 879, compared to 761 on a rainy day two last year.


Total estimated attendance on Wednesday was 4922, compared to 4262 last year.


379 people took in the free Tug-A-Truck event in the grandstand Wednesday evening.


Harness racing is featured in the grandstand this evening at 6.


The Hardin County Fair runs through this Sunday September 9 at the fairgrounds in Kenton.
