Death of Findlay Woman Becomes a Homicide Investigation

The victim of a suspicious death this past Monday in Hancock County has been identified.

According to a release late Tuesday afternoon from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office 59 year old Sherri Ziessler suffered multiple gunshot wounds at a home in the 16000 block of Township Road 205.   

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a homicide.

They are being assisted by BCI&I, Findlay Police Department, as well as the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.   

The Sheriff’s Office believes this is an isolated incident with no danger to the public.
