Details of Friday’s Injury Crash in Kenton Released
An injury accident occurred this past Friday afternoon in Kenton.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 19 year old Hailey Melvin, of Kenton, was driving east on West North Street and failed to yield from the stop sign at North Detroit Street.
Her vehicle was struck by a southbound car being driven by 61 year old Anthony Borbely, of Taylor, Michigan.
Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.
Borbely was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Melvin was attended to at the scene.
She was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
