After several delays, construction of Dollar General in Alger is set to start this Spring.

That is what Alger Mayor Von Summa told council members at Monday evening’s meeting.

The mayor said he received that information after he called store officials recently.

Dollar General will sit on 1.39 acres of land and will be accessed from State Route 235.
