Driver Flees Scene of Union County Accident

A driver fled the scene of a crash that occurred Sunday morning in Union County.

According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and units from the Richwood Police Department responded to the intersection of State Route 47 and Woods Road for a crash involving a 2019 Ford Explorer.

That vehicle ended up off the road where it struck a guardrail, rolled over and came to rest in a creek.

The Northern Union County Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
