Driver Swerves to Avoid Deer, Car Strikes Tree

A Findlay man escaped injury in a crash that occurred Sunday night in Wyandot County.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, Terry Curlis, age 49, was traveling east on Township Highway 20 when a deer ran into his path.

Curlis lost control of the car after he swerved to avoid hitting the animal.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a tree resulting in functional damage.
